Think for a moment about the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Australia or any other coral reef around the world. These unique and captivating habitats house about 25% of all animal life in the ocean.  Considering the mind-boggling number of species in the ocean, 25% is an incredibly significant number, making the reefs a necessity for so many creatures to sustain aquatic life in the ocean. That said, did you know the reefs are engineered and constructed from millions of living corals depositing limestone and other elements, and it is only because of these deposits that the reefs exist?

On their own, each coral is about the size of a pencil sharpener, hardly capable of  master piecing such a creation as the reefs on their own. But, cumulative, look what they have done. So where am I going with this tidbit about the coral reefs?

Reading emails. On their own, reading emails is, for the most part, a waste of time. Like a single coral, a penny by itself can hardly be effective.  Most people would not even stop to pick up a penny off the ground...including myself.  But, when a community of pennies come together, they can create something of value, like income. I didn't see it at first, but I have learned first hand from my own referrals reading their emails, as I do, how pennies can generate value.

I am posting five links for legit companies that pay for reading emails, most have a sign on bonus.  Hits4Pay, I believe, in the long run, is the best because they have a two tier referral system, and not just one level like most.  They pay 2 cents for each email the subscriber reads, and 1 cent for each email all referrals and referral's referrals read. That's not bad.

MyPoints (one of my favorites) gives points redeemable for gift cards....Seems I get emails daily from MyPoints. In less than a month's time, I have accumulated over 600 points for about 30-45 minutes total work time (sweet). MyPoints is also currently my featured work from home site.

Inbox and SendEarnings pay 3 cents per email, and also offer other ways of earning cash such as completing offers and surveys.

Deals N' Cash pays 2 cents for reading emails. I don't receive a lot of emails from them, but hey...with my new attitude, every penny counts.
